Tokutei Transport has 20 mock exams that follow the real CBT format. The first three are free and open in your browser with nothing to install. This page explains what is free, how an exam runs and how to review wrong answers.

What is free

How a CBT exam runs in the app

An exam follows the real structure: 30 theory ○× items and then 20 practical A/B/C items, 80 minutes in total with a countdown. You can flag items you are unsure about and return to them, and a question grid uses colours to show answered, unanswered and flagged items. On wide screens the question panel sits beside the paper.

Right answers move on, wrong answers stop

When you choose the right answer, the app moves to the next item after about half a second, like the rhythm of a real CBT. When you choose a wrong answer, it stops and shows why the correct answer is correct, so you understand instead of just memorising. You decide when to continue.

Results and wrong-answer review

After you submit, the result screen shows your theory score (out of 30) and practical score (out of 20) separately, because the real exam is passed part by part: 18 in theory and 12 in practical. Wrong answers are saved so you can redo them in the review section. A good routine is to take one exam, redo exactly the ones you missed, then move to the next.

Where the questions come from

Every question is based on the official study textbook 「（外国人向け）トラック運転者をめざす人のための学習用テキスト」, with no rules added from outside the book. These are practice papers that mimic the structure. They are not real exam questions and they do not predict the exam.

Going beyond the 3 free exams

Are the truck mock exams free?

Yes. Exams 1 to 3 are free, with furigana and translation. Exams 4 to 20 are for VIP.

Is the mock exam like the real one?

It follows the official structure: 50 questions with 30 ○× and 20 practical A/B/C, 80 minutes, pass at 60% in each part. The questions are practice items based on the textbook, not real exam questions.
